Adoption Search
Hi, my name is DUSTY
Dusty is shy and nervous in her kennel. She'll glance over towards you wondering if you will love her, if she can trust you. It takes her a little while to warm up to new people but she loves treats and with some extra tasty ones, she'll be eating right out your hand!
Dusty tries to look independent in the play yard. With a little time and patience, she'll make her way over to you and get all the pets and attention. We think there might be a confident girl just waiting to feel safe enough to come out of her shell. She'd do much better in a home environment and is available for foster or adoption. Meet her today!
My Special Considerations
Dusty is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. No cats and resource guarding issues. Dusty is very nervous, she has found comfort in her crate. She is fearful around staff and will avoid. She tolerates all handling but will not seek attention as of right now. We believe she will thrive in a home where she is able to decompress away from the noise. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
