Despite her initial shyness, she has shown the ability to follow commands like 'sit' and with time, she warms up to people.

Booya is already spayed so she is ready to go home today.

My Special Considerations

Booya is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. She is very nervous of her surroundings and of new people. In her kennel, she avoids new people. However, she approaches for leashing and enjoys coming out for walks. With a slower approach she warms up to new people and walks well on leash. She tolerates but does not enjoy all handling. She is now showing signs of stress like panting, pacing, and drooling. She is a playgroup candidate and has done well with other gentle, calm dogs. Booya is a shy girl but with time and patience, her true personality shines! This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 7/28 at 3pm.
