Despite his puppy exuberance, Frankie is surprisingly easy to handle and shows a willingness to learn and improve. He responds well to corrections and enjoys the positive reinforcement that treats bring. While he may need a bit more practice with commands like "lay down," Frankie already knows the basics like "sit" and is keen to please his human companions. Seeking attention and affection, Frankie would thrive in a patient and loving family who can provide him with the guidance, training, and exercise he needs to grow into a well-rounded and happy canine companion.

My Special Considerations

*Frankie is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. *Frankie allows all handling, and walks good on leash. *Frankie is a playgroup candidate and despite being a big ball of energy, he does better with our calm and fearful dogs. *Frankie is beginning to show stress signs in his kennel by heavily fecal tracking, heavy panting and excessive demand barking that is hard to settle. This behavior effects his neighboring friends. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
