Candice is seeking a loving and patient family to call her own.

Candice needs patience and understanding, as she is a little fearful on first encounter, but kneeling down to her level gives her a sense of trust. She loves going in the kiddie pool and splashing around, she would love for you to join her.

She loves treats and is on a slow start to learning commands, with positive reinforcement. Candice will need some practice walking properly on the leash. Remember that every dog is unique, and progress may take time. With love, patience, and consistent training, Candice can become a well-adjusted and obedient companion.

My Special Considerations

*Candice is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Candice has heavy fecal tracking as well as heavy smears on the glass of her kennel. Candice is bouncing all around and not able to relax in side her kennel. She is a playgroup candidate. She is apart of the fearful group in playgroup but warms up quickly to play. She enjoys the company of other dogs. She walks well on leash. She is friendly and social with people. She went from showing fearful behaviors in her kennel to anxious behaviors. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 7/16 at 3 PM.
