The saying goes that the camera adds ten pounds, and it seems to hold true for Sadie!

Even the iPhone camera doesn't do justice to her actual size.

In reality, Sadie is more petite than her photos suggest. She's a loving dog who enjoys human company and participating in dog playgroup at the shelter. With her perceptive gaze, she appears to understand your innermost thoughts. At six years old, she knows right from wrong.

Sadie will be your faithful best friend, and she can't wait to go home with you! Sadie is available for foster or adoption.

My Special Considerations

Sadie is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Sadie is wall rebounding, and heavy panting, focus was able to be broken previously. It is difficult to settle her down and break her focus now. Sadie loves treats, she is a playgroup candidate and she is very friendly and seeks attention from others. Sadie is not thriving, despite all interventions given and is at risk of hurting herself. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 7/14 at 3 pm.

07/07/24 Update: This patient has developed a respiratory infection that we have started treatment for. She would benefit from receiving this treatment in a home away from the stressors of the shelter environment. She would have to be isolated from other pets through at least 07/17/24 while receiving her treatment.
