My Special Considerations

Canelo is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Canelo is a very nervous and scared boy. He hides in his kennel and avoids new people. He is able to be leashed and allows all handling. He does not seek attention and prefers to be left alone. He trembles and tries to hide. He enjoys the company of other dogs. He is a silly, goofy boy at playgroup and his confidence blossoms when he's at playgroup. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 5/3.
