Hi! I’m Jack and I'm 9 years old.

While I am a bit older than some of my bungalow mates, I am kind and sweet. I take treats gently and prefer slow walks and sitting in the shade with humans. When I first got here, I had a skin condition and arthritis. The people here have helped my skin improve greatly and my arthritis too. If you are looking for a quiet friend with whom to share your home, think of me. Just ask for Jack!

My Special Considerations

This dog has arthritis and some skin issues that would benefit from further veterinary care.

04/18/24: Update: This sweet old man's skin is improving greatly. However, his arthritis in his right hindleg persists. We have bloodwork and radiographs that we would be able to share. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He would benefit from further care outside of the shelter environment where he could be made more comfortable.
