Mario loves nothing more than going on daily quests in the shelter yard, imagining himself jumping over obstacles and collecting stars. He is always the star player, quick to learn new commands like they were secret moves in his favorite game. Every time someone new visits the shelter, Mario hopes they will see him as the ultimate sidekick, ready to power up their lives.

My Special Considerations

Mario is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. He is very energetic in his kennel and loves to go on walks. He knows sit, stay, and lay down. He is smearing the glass of his kennel door and is demand barking in his kennel. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
