*MAGNETO

Hi, my name is *MAGNETO

Meet Magneto, the gentle soul with a heart of gold and a hint of hesitation. Magneto may appear timid at first glance, but beneath his apprehensive exterior lies a reservoir of love waiting to be discovered. Though he may be afflicted with cherry eye in both eyes, Magneto doesn't let this hinder his capacity for love. Instead, it serves as a reminder of his resilience and unwavering spirit. Despite the challenges he faces, Magneto remains steadfast in his affection, offering comfort and companionship to those who are willing to open their hearts to him. With a gentle touch and a kind word, Magneto blossoms into the loving companion he was always meant to be. His capacity for love knows no bounds, making him a cherished member of any family lucky enough to welcome him into their home.

My Special Considerations

This dog arrived very underweight but has been gaining weight since arrival. He had pretty severe "cherry eyes" and has had surgery to repair his cherry eyes. He does still have swelling associated with both eyelids. He may benefit from consultation with an ophthalmologist to determine if there is any benefit to further surgical intervention.

*Magneto is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. He is nervous of new people. He avoids social interaction but with time and patience, he allows all handling and starts to seek attention. He is growing more depressed in his kennel. He loves walks and he walks well on leash. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. Due to intersecting medical and behavioral concern, This animal needs placement by 5/8.
