My Special Considerations

Commander is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. He is very jumpy in his kennel and is panting. He is heavy fecal tracking thorough out his kennel, heavy open mouth panting and restless. Once he is out of the kennel he does allow all handling and seeks attention. He loves attention and treats. He is also a current playgroup candidate. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 3/13 at 3 PM.


UPDATE: Commitment is having to be readded due to his anxious behaviors in the kennel and he is struggling very badly. Commander is back to heavily fecal tracking in both the front of his kennel and back yard of the kennel. Due to the extent of his suffering, commitment has been moved to 3/13.
