Meet Taffy – A Sweetheart with a Splash of Fun!

Taffy is an absolute gem of a dog—cute, affectionate, and just the right amount of silly. At around 3 years old, she has that perfect mix of playful energy and easygoing charm. She walks beautifully on leash, preferring to take her time and enjoy the scents along the way.

One of Taffy's favorite discoveries at the shelter? The kiddie pool! She had an absolute blast splashing around and dunking her head in the water like a true summer pup. It’s easy to imagine her soaking up the sun in your backyard or a nearby park, living her best life.

This sweet girl will occasionally come over for a few pets and some kind words—it’s clear she appreciates a little love and encouragement. She’s the kind of dog who will steal your heart, and make life that much better!

Taffy lived with cats in her previous home, but proper introductions are key whenever you introduce a shelter pet to your resident pet(s).

Best of all? Taffy is already spayed and ready to head home with you today. Come meet this water-loving sweetheart—you might just fall in love.

My Special Considerations

Taffy is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
