Smokey is an adoring boy with a mature outlook on life: don't take it too seriously. Take time to stop and smell the fire hydrants, enjoy the ones you love and the little pleasures, like balls with squeakers. They're literally the best thing since sliced Fresh Pet!!

He came to the shelter April 16th as a stray and would love to get back into a loving, committed home as soon as possible. His bags are packed (he's neutered) and he's ready to come home with you today! Foster or adopt Smokey, or consider him for your next foster field trip!

My Special Considerations

Smokey is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
