Poppas is one of those pups we have who will make a good family pet! While he is 6 years old, please don't let his age be a deterrent. He's youthful and playful, but also has a calm aura about him. He's a goofy boy, and he'll make you laugh, especially when you find him sitting on your lap or feet.

We can't understand why he's getting overlooked at the shelter -- he's such a good boy. We always see him patiently waiting by his kennel door, and we know he's just praying for his forever family to stop by his kennel and choose him.

Here are some of Poppas' favorite things:
- Sitting on people's laps and feet
- People watching
- Pets and back scratches (physical touch is his love language)
- Saying "Hi" to other people and dogs
- Playing chase
- Toys on occasion
