*MAJOR

Hi, my name is *MAJOR

Meet Major! – A Thoughtful Explorer

Major is a handsome pup with the sweetest, most thoughtful face—one that looks like it carries a world of questions and quiet curiosity. Though he started off a bit cautious at the shelter, this gentle boy has come out of his shell beautifully in his foster home.

He’s a pup on a mission—always on the go and eager to explore. He may pull a bit on leash to get to where he wants to be, but with regular exercise, continued walks, and a little training and guidance (as all dogs need!), he’ll only continue to improve.

Major isn’t overly interested in treats or toys just yet, but that could simply be because he’s still settling in. We’re still getting to know this endearing boy, and we can tell there's more of his personality waiting to shine through. He just needs a little time, patience, and a loving family willing to help him feel safe and seen.

He’s incredibly loving and thrives on attention and pets—often leaning in to soak up every bit of affection. Major is a chill, easygoing guy who also enjoys bursts of playtime and daily walks (his favorite part of the day!). He’s curious and observant on walks, sometimes pulling a bit on leash to get to where he wants to go, but with consistency and continued exercise, he's doing great and continuing to improve.

In his foster home, Major has proven to be potty trained and is making good progress with crate training. He’s also been calm and well-mannered during car rides and has done well around other dogs he's met. He's always starting to fetch and play with toys!

Major is still searching for his forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a heart full of potential, Major may be the perfect match you’ve been waiting for. Please email foster@animalfoundation.com with your contact information and permission to forward your contact information to Major's foster family to meet him.
