Russo is a beautiful little couch potato house hippo who's just begging for a family to call his own.

This good-natured boy would love someone to rub a little coconut oil on his nose and give his wiggly booty a scratch.

He's very affectionate and pretty well-mannered around the shelter.

At 3 years old, Russo is mature enough to know his basic manners but still has many years and lots of love to give.

Russo is a 'potty dog' at the shelter which means he waits to go outside to do his business and is likely potty trained.

He also enjoys playing with other dogs during playgroup at the shelter.

He's hoping Cupid sends someone his way in time to shower with them with love (and maybe get some heart-shaped dog treats himself) this Valentine's Day.

My Special Considerations

Being treated for a respiratory infection. Will need medication and isolation from other dogs through at least 2/13.
