My Special Considerations
*Hyena is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. He is stressed and scared. He has a history of lunging, growling, and attempting to bite through fences. Here he does tolerate all handling but remains tense and watchful. He would benefit from getting out of the shelter to decompress. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. Due to the severity of these behaviors, this animal is transfer only and not a foster candidate at this time. Additional behavioral details are available to interested partners upon request. This animal needs placement by 9/3 by 3pm
