18 Years Later, Right on Time

Murdoch is truly something special to me. Sadly, just a few months prior to seeing Murdoch on Instagram I had lost Patch, my very first dog. Patch had died at the age of 18 in my arms. I was broken, lost and completely shattered.

One day, unexpectedly I seen Murdoch and his dad story on the IG page. Something hit me and struck my soul, it was an instant connection. Something in my soul knew I needed Murdoch.

The timing worked, out 18 years to the day that I brought home my very first dog I welcomed Murdoch home. Murdoch had experienced some unknown trauma and injuries, leaving him blinded and having to heal from whatever he went thru before.

Since then, Murdoch has gained some of his sight back and lives alongside his siblings who are also rescues from The Animal Foundation. He knows sit, down, paw and is truly the best dog, my soul dog. He’s beautiful inside and out, and has healed me in ways I never knew I needed.
