Dust off your flip phone, throw on your Juicy Couture tracksuit, and set your AIM away message to “Finding my new BFF.” For one day only, we’re rewinding to the early 2000s for our Y2K-9 & Meowlennials Adoption Event, where every available animal will have a fee-waived adoption.

Thanks to our friends at Olight, this totally iconic adoption event is helping even more shelter pets find their forever homes. 

That’s right: we’re opening on a day we’re usually closed, so don’t miss your chance to find your soulmate (the furry kind).

Whether you’re looking for a dog, cat, puppy, kitten, or another adorable companion, your perfect match is waiting. And unlike LimeWire, bringing home a shelter pet is guaranteed to improve your life.

Need another reason to come? You’ll still be home in time to catch TRL.

So grab your butterfly clips, charge your pink Razr, update your Top 8 on MySpace, and head to The Animal Foundation between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, July 6.

Because life without a shelter pet is so last season.

About the Adoption Process:

🟣 Visit https://animalfoundation.com/adopt-a-pet/adoption-search before coming to the shelter to browse adoptable pets.

🟣 Use the QR code on our adoption lobby door to join the virtual waitlist. The waitlist opens at 8:00 am.

🟣 Please make sure to return by 11 am when the doors open.

🟣 When you arrive, you may browse the adoption area for a pet, or if you have an animal in mind, please note the animal ID# and you’ll be able to speak with an adoption counselor. We do not place holds on pets.

🟣 Please do not bring your current pets for introductions — the shelter environment doesn’t provide an accurate picture of how pets will interact at home.
