Your perfect match could be waiting at The Animal Foundation. Join us on Saturday, May 16 for Find Your One, a special fee-waived adoption event made possible by the support of Credit One Bank.

For one day only, adoption fees will be waived for all available shelter pets, including puppies and kittens (a $10 license fee may apply). Whether you’re searching for a hiking partner, a professional couch potato, a playful sidekick, or a loyal best friend, this is your chance to meet the one who’s been waiting just for you.

Every year, thousands of incredible animals come through our doors, each with their own personality, story, and spark. During Find Your One, you’ll be able to meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens all looking for loving homes right here in Las Vegas.

Our adoption counselors will be available to help match you with a pet that fits your lifestyle, whether you’re looking for an adventure buddy, a cuddle expert, or a new family member to binge-watch TV with.

How the Adoption Process Works
🐾 Visit our adoption search page before coming to the shelter to browse adoptable pets.
🐾 Use the QR code on our adoption lobby door to join the virtual waitlist. The waitlist opens at 8:00 am.
🐾 Please make sure to return by 11 am when the doors open.
🐾 Depending on the volume of patrons each day, adoption services may close before 7 PM once our capacity is reached. We recommend arriving early.
🐾 When you arrive, you may browse the adoption area for a pet, or if you have an animal in mind, please note the animal ID#, and you’ll be able to speak with an adoption counselor.
🐾 We do not place holds on pets.
🐾 Please do not bring your current pets for introductions—the shelter environment doesn’t provide an accurate picture of how pets will interact at home.
🐾 The fee-waived adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccines, and a microchip.
