A Tiny Fighter with a Mighty Heart

Baymax came into our lives at exactly the right moment- a tiny, bottle-fed foster kitten who was failing to thrive, arriving just weeks after we said goodbye to our beloved 17-year-old cat, Awesomo. He needed us, and honestly, we needed him too.

From the start, Baymax was a fighter. Getting him to gain weight took everything we had, but he held on. Then came the news that would change everything: a hole in his heart and an irregular heartbeat. That’s the moment we stopped calling him a foster and started calling him family.

What followed were countless cardiology visits, careful monitoring, and one milestone that felt like nothing short of a miracle… he was cleared for neutering, something we weren’t sure would ever be possible. Through it all, this little guy never stopped living with his whole heart (literally).

Today, Baymax is the spunkiest, most spirited boy you’ll ever meet. He wrestles with his brother Cooper, rules the house with playful confidence, and has defied every odd stacked against him. The doctors told us he could live a long, normal life, or he might not. So we treasure every single day.

Baymax isn’t just a pet. He’s proof that love, patience, and a little stubbornness can work miracles.
