Storm is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress.
This dog does not appear to be leash trained at this time. They are apprehensive about the leash and may try to avoid it. When on leash, they do not walk consistently and often resist by stopping or refusing to move. With patience and positive reinforcement, they have the potential to improve significantly.
This dog is a “potty dog” at the shelter which means they wait to go outside to do their business and is likely housebroken. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
