Meet Tanque, a handsome, squishy-faced stocky boy with a heart of gold! This 2-year-old big boy arrived as an owner surrender and is ready to find a loving home or foster family where he can shine.
Tanque comes with a wonderful family and pet history! According to his previous owner notes, Tanque has lived with kids of all ages and another big dog. He is also an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, keeping his space clean and waiting to handle business outdoors.
Tanque can be a little cautious and shy during initial kennel exits and introductions, requiring a calm, patient, and slow approach. However, once he warms up with a few yummy treats—which he takes very gently from your hand—his sweet, affectionate, and loyal personality shines right through! He loves head pets, snuggles, gentle cheek scratches, and leaning right up against your legs to show his love and trust. He is also a playful guy who enjoys chasing tennis balls around the play yard.
Tanque will thrive with a patient family who can give him the time and reassurance he needs to feel secure.

My Special Considerations
Tanque has been noted to have seizures. He would benefit from continued monitoring, treatment, and potential advanced imaging (MRI). Bloodwork showed no abnormalities. He is looking for placement by 8/23/26 3pm.
