My Special Considerations
Mudslide is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. Mudslide has not made much progress since being brought to the shelter. He is freezing, hard staring, growling, and hissing at staff. During his stay he still is unable to be handled by staff, we do believe one out of the shelter where he can decompress he will be able to come around and show his true colors. Behavior team are trying different interventions to try and help this friend feel a little more comfortable. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 8/19 by 3PM
