Meet Jelly bean, a mature, sweet girl who is looking for her loving forever home! She is a people-oriented sweetheart who loves hanging out right next to people, happily moving between handlers in the yard looking for human connection and pets.
Jelly bean is very easy to leash up in her kennel, though she can pull a bit while walking on lead. While she passed on beef jerky treats and wasn't motivated by food during her yard time, she is wonderfully responsive to sound—head-tilting and perking right up at the sound of a squeaky toy! She will benefit from a caring family to provide her with ongoing management to keep her comfortable.
If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our foster programs to give Jelly bean a well-deserved break from the kennel. Come meet Jelly bean today!
My Special Considerations
This older lady has a hard time getting around and would benefit from a comfortable environment and chronic pain management. Bloodwork is available for review and is relatively unremarkable.
