My Name Is BELLA!
Meet Bella. This beautiful senior girl is ready to turn the page and begin a wonderful new chapter for her golden years. She is a true lady who is already potty trained and well-versed in her basic commands. Her previous family describes her as an easygoing and friendly companion who successfully lived with teenagers and a large dog sibling.
Bella is a happy social butterfly who thrives on human affection and is famous for giving the best kisses. Despite being a senior, she still knows how to have a splashing good time and absolutely loves playing in the kiddie pool. She is a dream on the leash and handles her walks with grace and enthusiasm. Whether she is showing off her skills for a treat or simply soaking up some love, Bella is a gentle soul who brings a sense of peace and joy wherever she goes.
As she transitions into her new home, she will benefit from a patient family that understands the importance of a dedicated decompression period. If you are looking for a seasoned companion with a heart of gold, come and meet Bella today. Ask staff about the foster field trip and foster programs as a wonderful way to give this sweet senior a break from the shelter. I recently went on a foster field trip and had a great time!
My Special Considerations
This older gal had a dental cleaning and a large mass from her lip removed in May. She currently has shifting lameness in her hindlegs that is thought to be secondary to age related changes/arthritis and or a torn cruciate ligament. Bloodwork and radiographs are available for review. She would benefit from follow up at a full service vet and or veterinary surgeon to assess her hindlimbs.
07/29/26 UPDATE: TAF will fund up to $800 stipend for medical care if adopted or transfered.
