My Name Is MARLEY!
Meet Marley. Meet a fun-loving and energetic young boy who is ready to trade the shelter kennel for long walks, backyard play, and a cozy spot on your rug. He is a total social butterfly who wants to meet everyone he sees and thrives on human affection.
This active fellow has a "go, go, go" personality and is always ready for his next adventure. Marley loves to take the lead on walks and explore the world with enthusiasm. He showed a very friendly nature at the shelter and was not reactive when passing another dog; in fact, he seemed very eager to make a new friend! Because he is a young and spirited boy, he is looking for an active home that will provide him with plenty of exercise and is dedicated to providing the time and patience needed for continued training.
Marley is a loyal and joyful companion who is looking for a family that understands the importance of a dedicated decompression period. If you think you have the active lifestyle and the heart for a sweet boy like Marley, come and meet him today. Ask staff about the foster field trip and foster programs as a great way to give him a break from the shelter and a chance to get to know him in a home setting.
My Special Considerations
Marley was noted to have head tremors. She would benefit from continued work-up including likely MRI.
Additionally, Marley is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. He is struggling with frustration in his kennel and stress overall in the shelter environment, he is instigating cage fighting with his neighbors and panting and demand barking in his kennel. Marley is a wiggly and social boy who enjoys getting outside for sunshine and fresh air with his favorite people! This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
