My Name Is PICO!
Meet Pico.
Say hello to a handsome fellow who is officially ready to close his shelter chapter and start a brand-new adventure. Pico is a mature boy and a true gentle giant who is great in a home. He is a confirmed potty dog who was surrendered by a family that described him as easygoing, calm, and friendly. He has experience successfully living with children of all ages and is ready to settle back into a home routine.
This happy gentleman is an absolute joy to handle and is easy to leash up for his daily strolls. Pico is a strong and active boy who loves to go for walks and explore. One of his favorite things is the water! He is in search of a home where he can splash around, perhaps even one with a kiddie pool just for him. When he is not playing in the water, he is a social butterfly who is friendly to everyone he meets and enjoys a good bone to chew on.
Pico is a loyal and gentle companion. Because he is navigating the transition from a long-term home to the shelter, he is looking for a patient family that understands the importance of a dedicated decompression period. If you think you have the time and patience for a sweet boy like Pico, come and meet him today. Ask staff about the foster field trip and foster programs as a great way to give him a break from the shelter and a chance to get to know him in a home setting.
