My Special Considerations
*Sir Whiskers is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. *Sir whiskers is scared and stressed in the shelter environment. He needs out of the shelter to be able to decompress and be given lots of time and patience to do so. *Sir Whiskers just came back from foster, he was in the home for a month which allowed him to decompress but he was still very fearful and not allowing handling. Here at the shelter he is unable to be handled by staff. He is swatting, tense, and biting at the pointers that staff are using to interact with him. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
