Meet Rex, a handsome, sweet, and calm companion who is ready to meet you and find his loving forever home! He is a quiet, gentle soul who takes a little time to adjust to new environments, but his sweet demeanor makes him an absolute joy to be around.
Rex is an official house-trained potty dog at the shelter, keeping his space clean and handling his business outdoors. He is easy to leash up right from his kennel and walks nicely on lead. He wags his tail and enjoys soft pets, leaning in comfortably as he gets to know you.
This handsome guy has low prey drive—when a pigeon landed right near him in the play yard, Rex didn't even pay it any attention! He isn't overly interested in toys or high-energy chaos, preferring an easygoing energy where he can sniff around, explore at his own pace, and hang out peacefully with his human friends.
Rex is looking for a patient home or foster family where he can decompress and continue to build his confidence.
