My Name Is JIM!
Meet Jim, a sweet mature boy who is neutered and completely ready to find his loving forever family. Jim came to the shelter as an owner surrender, and his previous family provided wonderful insight into his personality. They noted that he is active and friendly, successfully lived with teenagers, and is fully potty trained. When left alone, he was trusted to be left free in the house, and he already knows a couple of basic commands. He is very bonded to his person and will need a home that will give him the time and patience he needs to decompress and settle in.
At the shelter, Jim has proven to be a wonderful potty dog. He is a truly loyal companion who shows he trusts you by leaning right against you for pets and affection. He is also a smart fellow who responds well to his name and knows the come command. Jim has shown excellent manners and was not reactive towards other dogs that passed the play yard. On warm days, he absolutely likes hanging in the kiddie pool to cool off! If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our foster programs to give Jim a well-deserved break from the kennel. Come meet Jim today.
