My Name Is LALA!
Lala is a lovely senior girl, estimated to be around 9 years old, who has found herself back at the shelter after being adopted from us many years ago. While we don't know the circumstances that brought her back, we do know she deserves a soft place to land and a family to love her through her golden years.
Weighing in at 48 pounds, Lala is a medium-sized pup who somehow feels much smaller in person. With her rich chocolate coat, frosted snout, and delicate little face, she has the sweetest, most gentle look. She even resembles a Dachshund mix, making her all the more unique.
Lala is easy to walk and has lovely leash manners. It's clear she's a bit unsure of her surroundings right now, and who could blame her? Shelter life is a big adjustment, especially for a dog who thought she'd already found her forever home. She's still taking it all in and isn't especially affectionate just yet, but she has a quiet, gentle sweetness about her that shines through.
We think that once Lala has the chance to settle into a calm, loving home, decompress, and feel safe again, more of her personality will begin to blossom. If you're looking for a kind-hearted companion who deserves a second chance, Lala is ready to meet you.
My Special Considerations
Lala is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
