Doki is a total people dog who loves coming up to give warm greetings, soaking up pets, and showing off her wonderful manners. She is a clever girl who sits so nicely whenever a delicious treat is offered! Full of fun personality, Doki loves hanging out in the play yard, taking nice walks on lead, and especially lounging in the kiddie pool to cool off on warm days.
This sweet senior gal is ready to bring endless love, loyalty, and joyful companionship to her new family. If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our foster programs to give Doki a well-deserved break from the shelter. Come meet Doki today!
My Special Considerations
Doki is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. She has been in the shelter on and off for quite some time, and is struggling with the stress of shelter life. She is compulsively seeking her neighbor, moving back and forth along the wall in her kennel and it is increasingly difficult to break her focus. She is a sweet girl who enjoys socializing with team members, going for walks, and has been an attendee of play group. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
