My Name Is ROCKY!

Rocky is the sweetest boy you will ever meet! He is a pro-snuggler and a big hearted guy who loves everyone he meets!

Rocky is a smart and happy guy who loves walks, pets, and affection! He is gentle and kind to people and other dogs - he is a playgroup regular with the mellow and calm group. He is welcoming and encouraging to fearful pups, and calm and tolerant with playful pups, making him an all around playgroup rockstar!

He knows sit and walks very well on a leash. He is very treat motivated and eager to lease, making him a blast to work with and teach new things! He is a staff and volunteer favorite because of his easy going, loveable attitude. With the cutest ears and most expressive eyes, he will win you over instantly.

Rocky loves playing with toys and in the baby pools at the shelter. He is a "potty dog" at the shelter which means he tries to wait to go outside to do their business and is likely housebroken. Rocky is he perfect blend of a calm, relaxed gentleman who loves to meet new people and go new places. He is the perfect adventure buddy!

Do you think those adorable freckles and his greeter skills would make him the star of your neighborhood walks?

"To help Rocky settle into your home, we've packed a special Pup Starter Kit! This kit includes a crate, leash, collar, harness, treats, a slow feeder, and a scholarship for our 5-week ""Bark to Basics"" group training classes. These free classes cover essential skills like basic obedience and manners to help you start off on the right paw together.

My Special Considerations

This pup is being spotlighted for one reason only, time. They have been overlooked in the shelter for far too long, and would love a break from the shelter environment where they can relax and just be a dog. The longer they stay in the shelter, the higher the risk of them deteriorating behaviorally and/or medically. If you'd like to foster or adopt this pup, please come in to meet them!
