URGENT: Out of Dog Space
URGENT: Out of Dog Space
We’re starting today with 497 dogs in our shelter, and more will continue to come in throughout the day. Pictured are just nine of them.
Yesterday alone, 143 animals arrived at the shelter. We are in a critical situation and need your help NOW.
Please consider fostering a medium or large dog, now through Sunday, August 18th.
We need to keep our shelter population at a manageable level to ensure the well-being of our animals and our team.
Fostering a dog for at least two weeks helps them to decompress away from the shelter and frees up much-needed kennel space for the animals who need us the most. Fostering is free, we provide everything you need. If you decide you want to adopt your foster dog, we will waive the adoption fee.
Please fill out our foster application before you arrive: https://bit.ly/3nNZhH6
If you aren’t able to foster, there are other ways you can help:
- Reclaim your lost pet. We can assist you with reclaim fees.
- Donate to our wishlist: https://bit.ly/3KN9A60
- Donate gently used crates, collars, leashes, and linens
- If you find a healthy and friendly dog in your neighborhood, try to reunite them with their owner before bringing them to the shelter.
