How It Works

❤️ Walk in — no pre-registration needed.
Stop by our adoption lobby, and our team will help you pick the perfect short-term companion. If you’re trying to foster a specific dog, we recommend filling out the foster application ahead of time and emailing foster@animalfoundation.com.

❤️ Take a dog or cat on a field trip or into foster care.
You can take them out for a day, a weekend, or a week — your choice!

❤️ Adoption fees waived.
If you fall in love with your foster pet and want to adopt them, we’ll waive the adoption fee.

❤️ Every outing helps.
You’re not just giving them a break from the shelter — you’re helping them find their forever home faster.
