Foster Field Trip Summer Sendoff

We’re kicking off the Foster Field Trip Summer Sendoff — a month-long challenge to give shelter dogs a break from the heat and the kennels. Our goal? 500 Foster Field Trips in August! We’re expanding hours so you can pick up a pup starting at 8:00 AM daily for a cool morning adventure. Whether it’s a walk, a park picnic, or a coffee run, these field trips provide crucial enrichment and help our dogs find their forever homes.

How It Works

Fill out a foster application. Click here to apply for a foster field trip before you come to pick up a dog.

Come to The Animal Foundation. We will have staff ready in our adoptions center at 8:00 AM. Pick up a pup. Grab your gear (we provide supplies) and head out on your adventure.
