My Special Considerations
This turtle came into our care with a very dirty shell and flaky scutes and could be indicative of early shell rot secondary to poor husbandry. We are currently managing them with medicated shell scrubs/cleaning and regular water changes. They would benefit from placement with a transfer partner better equipped to care for exotic species.
