My Name Is BUBBA!

Meet Bubba.

He is a magnificent boy and a total gentleman on the leash. He is very easy to leash up and walks beautifully, making him the perfect partner for neighborhood strolls. Bubba is an affectionate soul who truly enjoys soaking up all the pets you can give. It only takes a short walk and a few treats to win over his heart—once he knows you, he will happily lean right up against you for cuddles.

This clever boy knows his manners. Bubba is very motivated by treats and already knows the sit, lay down, and come commands. He is also a social gentleman. He is not reactive to other dogs passing by his play yard and greets them very politely at the fence. He even attended playgroup here at the shelter.

Bubba is a loyal, affectionate, and resilient companion. Although he can exhibit some fear while in his kennel, his true, sweet personality shines through the moment he is out with a friend.

He is looking for a patient home that understands the importance of a dedicated decompression period. It is very much encouraged when introducing new pets one must be safe and gradually over time introduce. The shelter pet needs time to decompress and the resident pets need time to accept. This will ensure a successful introduction. With time to settle in and plenty of love, Bubba will be the most devoted friend you have ever had.

If you think you have the time and patience for a sweet Bubba and are the perfect home for him, then come and meet Bubba today. If you think you need more time to decide, ask staff about the foster field trip and foster programs, as it is a great way to give Bubba a break from the shelter and a chance to get to know him in a home setting.

My Special Considerations

This pup is being spotlighted for one reason only, time. They have been overlooked in the shelter for far too long, and would love a break from the shelter environment where they can relax and just be a dog. The longer they stay in the shelter, the higher the risk of them deteriorating behaviorally and/or medically. If you'd like to foster or adopt this pup, please come in to meet them!
