A shining gem looking for a hero to help him bloom. He is a spectacular boy and a confirmed potty dog superstar who takes care of business as soon as he gets outside. He is an absolute dream to handle on the leash, making him the perfect partner for daily neighborhood strolls. This sweet boy is all about his person and likes to stay right near your side, valuing connection and loyalty above all else.
Onyx is a total fetch enthusiast and loves to play with balls. He is a smart boy who has figured out the game—if you have a second ball ready to throw, he will happily release the first one for you. While he is a well-mannered companion, he is currently dealing with some skin issues and fur loss. He is looking for a hero who can provide the medical care and TLC he needs to get back to feeling his absolute best.
Onyx is a joyful, devoted, and sensitive companion. Because he needs a little extra care and a safe space to heal, he is looking for a patient home that understands the importance of a dedicated decompression period. It is very much encouraged when introducing new pets one must be safe and gradually over time introduced. The shelter pet needs time to decompress and the resident pets need time to accept. This will ensure a successful introduction. With time, love, and the right medical attention, Onyx will be the most loyal best friend you have ever had.

This pup is being spotlighted for one reason only, time. They have been overlooked in the shelter for far too long, and would love a break from the shelter environment where they can relax and just be a dog. The longer they stay in the shelter, the higher the risk of them deteriorating behaviorally and/or medically. If you'd like to foster or adopt this pup, please come in to meet them!
