?Shark Bait is a young, sweet, and happy boy who is ready to find his new family. He is a total gentleman and was very easy to leash up in his kennel, where he stood by the door and waited patiently. He walks really well on the leash and is a friendly boy who greets everyone with a wagging tail.

Shark Bait is a smart boy who already knows sit, give paw, and lie down, especially if there are treats involved! He is a very affectionate soul who loves belly rubs and will come and lean right up against you to show you how much he trusts you. While he is more interested in getting love than chasing toys, he is quite the social butterfly—he attends play groups at the shelter and plays nicely with other dogs with proper introductions. He is a very sweet boy who is sure to bring a lot of happiness to his new home.

My Special Considerations

This dog shows dog-selective behaviors, they get along well with some dogs, but not all. They may have preferences about which dogs they're comfortable around and can sometimes struggle to be socially appropriate with certain others. With ongoing training, supervision, and proper introductions, their interactions with other dogs can continue to improve. We recommend slow, structured introductions to new dogs to ensure positive experiences. He is tense and unsure when meeting new dogs. He has warmed up and made a few friends at shelter playgroup, but he is not a fan of all of the dogs he's met. He prefers gentle dogs.
