Niimo is a sweet, active young boy who is ready to trade in his kennel for a couch, a backyard, and a family to call his own. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender and was described as active, potty trained, and having lived with kids — so he already has experience being part of a family.

Since arriving at the shelter, Niimo has shown us just how smart and eager he is. He knows the commands come, sit, and lie down, and he’s always happy to show off his skills — especially if you happen to have his favorite treat: beef jerky. This boy is definitely food-motivated and ready to keep learning!

Niimo loves to chase toys with enthusiasm and joy. Bringing them back? Well… that’s still a work in progress. But watching him zoom after a toy is pure happiness in motion. He absolutely adores affection, thrives on being pet, and prefers to stay close to his people. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who just wants to be near you, Niimo is your guy.

As a young, energetic dog, he will need continued training, mental enrichment, physical exercise, and a patient home willing to give him time to decompress and adjust. With structure, love, and consistency, Niimo has all the potential to grow into an incredible lifelong companion.
