My Name Is *BIG HANK!
Big Hank is a solid, sturdy three-year-old guy who will remind you of a big teddy bear you just want to hug. He’s an adorable, handsome, and unique-looking fella who came to the shelter as a stray at the end of January and has settled into shelter life. He has tons of friends (people and dogs!) and even a girl friend he likes to wrestle with every day at playgroup!
Hank is curious about the world around him and loves to sniff, explore, and take in all the sights and smells of the shelter grounds. He enjoys being out on walks, moving around, and discovering new things. Toys and balls don’t seem to be his thing, but he loves affection and petting.
Big Hank is a genuinely lovable boy, who has so much joy to share! He is receptive to training and eager to learn new things. This big lug is one in a million! With patience, understanding, and some training to help him adjust to new environments and time alone, Hank has so much potential to thrive.
If you’re someone who believes in giving a good dog the time he needs to be his best self, Big Hank could be an incredibly rewarding companion. Sometimes all a dog needs is a little peace, a little patience, and a lot of love.

My Special Considerations
This pup is being spotlighted for one reason only, time. They have been overlooked in the shelter for far too long, and would love a break from the shelter environment where they can relax and just be a dog. The longer they stay in the shelter, the higher the risk of them deteriorating behaviorally and/or medically. If you'd like to foster or adopt this pup, please come in to meet them!
