My Name Is FREYA!
Meet Freya
Start the new year with love, play, and puppy joy!
Freya is a sweet, young puppy who came to the shelter on January 7, 2026, as an owner surrender alongside another young pup. She has the potential to be dog-friendly, though slow, safe introductions are encouraged to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.
This playful girl is easy to handle, loves treats, and is treat-motivated, making training sessions a joy. She knows her name, comes when called, and even knows the sit command. Freya loves to chase balls and run, though retrieving isn’t in her resume just yet—she’d make an amazing running buddy or playmate for active families.
Freya can get a little barrier frustrated when other dogs pass by, but she is a quick learner who responds well to guidance. She’s affectionate, tender, and full of love, always ready for pets and attention.
This beautiful girl is looking for a home that will give her time, patience, and training, helping her grow into the perfect companion. If you’re ready to help Freya blossom, come meet her today!
Not quite ready to commit? Ask about our foster field trip, foster, or foster-to-adopt programs—they give Freya a break from the shelter and time for you both to get to know each other.
