Mozzy arrived at the shelter on December 27, 2025, after coming in as an owner surrender. His previous family shared that he lived with teenagers, is potty trained, was the only pet in the home, and loves affection, especially sleeping close to his people. Here at the shelter, Mozzy loves treats, knows his sit command, and can’t get enough of playtime with toys and balls. He walks well on leash, though with happy enthusiasm, because he’s eager to show you the world. He adores being pet and is searching for a home that will give him time to decompress and continue his training.
If you think you might be the perfect match for this sweet boy, come meet Mozzy. If you need more time to decide, ask about our foster field trip, foster, or foster-to-adopt programs. It’s a great way to give Mozzy a break from the shelter and a chance for you both to get to know each other.
My Special Considerations
This pup is being spotlighted for one reason only, time. They have been overlooked in the shelter for far too long, and would love a break from the shelter environment where they can relax and just be a dog. The longer they stay in the shelter, the higher the risk of them deteriorating behaviorally and/or medically. If you'd like to foster or adopt this pup, please come in to meet them!
