Meet Jake!
Jake is the definition of a Velcro dog — his absolute favorite place to be is right by your side. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, following you from room to room, or heading out for a walk together, Jake is happiest when he’s with his person. At 60 pounds, he’s convinced he’s a lap dog… and somehow, he makes it work.
Jake is incredibly gentle and loving with people. He lives for pets, affection, and soaking up all the love you’re willing to give. He already knows “sit” and “look,” and he’s currently working on “shake” and “lay down.” He’s eager to learn and truly enjoys that one-on-one connection and time spent bonding.
He’s also a quiet, thoughtful companion. Not much of a barker, Jake prefers to calmly observe the world around him, taking everything in stride.
Jake would thrive with someone ready for a deeply devoted best friend — the kind of dog who will happily claim your lap, follow you anywhere, and give you his whole heart in return.
