My Name Is NINA!

My Special Considerations

Nina is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Nina was brought to us with three other friends. In the kennel, she is showing really anxious behaviors such as constant demand barking and heavy panting. She is hard to leash while in the kennel due to the anxious behaviors and just wanting out of the kennel. Staff has been able to get her out on leash, but she does not listen to verbal cues when she is constantly jumping up. Nina is starting to heavily drool and have excess saliva on her chin. She could use some extensive training to help her with her anxiety and arousal. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 1/20 at 3 PM.
