Midnight is a calm, sweet senior boy looking for a soft bed, a warm home, and a person who appreciates quiet, loyal companionship. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to go home today. Since arriving on October 25th, he has shown what a truly special, gentle soul he is.
Midnight is a polite, well-mannered gentleman. He’s fully house-trained, has perfect indoor manners, knows his sit command, and walks beautifully on leash. He has never barked in foster care — not once — and is wonderfully quiet in an apartment setting. Midnight is an explorer at heart and absolutely loves long, unhurried walks where he can take in every tree and bush. Indoors, he is the picture of calm, spending his day napping, relaxing, and checking in on his person with quiet affection.
He’s not reactive to other dogs and stays neutral on walks. Midnight warmed up quickly to his foster once he knew he was safe, and now enjoys gentle pets, belly rubs, sunbathing, and soft, cozy beds. He sleeps through the night, loves being near his person, and is an ideal match for someone who works from home, a retiree who enjoys daily walks, or anyone looking for a peaceful, loving companion.

To help Midnight settle into your home, we've packed a special Pup Starter Kit!
This kit includes a crate, leash, collar, harness, treats, a slow feeder, and a scholarship for our 5-week “Bark to Basics” group training classes. These free classes cover essential skills like basic obedience and manners to help you start off on the right paw together.

My Special Considerations
Midnight is a sweet, older gentleman who has been in our care since 10/25/2025. During his foster stay, he showed us how truly wonderful he is — fully house-trained, quiet, gentle, and a fantastic walking companion. His foster reports that he walks nicely on the leash, enjoys snacks, naps peacefully throughout the day, and loves being near his person without being clingy. Midnight is looking for a break from the shelter and would be thrilled to join a foster family or be adopted into a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years.
