My Name Is *NACHO!

What do you call people who complain about feeling lonely all the time because they don't have anyone fun and loving, who listens and truly understands them? Nacho problem.... because you got an awesome dog named Nacho at the Animal Foundation!

Dad jokes aside, Nacho really is an amazing companion just waiting for the right person to commit to loving him forever. He was surrendered by his owner on March 10th. They'd gotten him from the shelter as a puppy and had some really wonderful things to say about him.

He's described as being easygoing, friendly, active, and a little shy, but he got along with people and kids of all ages. Nacho is housetrained and will use either a dog door or a puppy pad. He'll vocalize and even knock on the door to let you know he has to go do his business! He lived with small dogs in his previous home and played with other dogs at the dog park. Nacho knows commands like sit, stay, come, and no, and isn't fussy about toys-he likes them all! His previous owner said he's a very loving dog who likes it when you talk to him.

Here at the shelter, Nacho is a very curious boy who loves to sniff out his surroundings. He may seem stand-offish at first, but once he's done exploring, he blossoms into a playful, affectionate boy who walks well on the leash, isn't reactive to other dogs at the shelter, and loves to meet new people.

Come down and meet him today! He's neutered and ready for foster or adoption.
