My Special Considerations
Andres is not adapting well in a kennel at the shelter and is exhibiting barrier frustration towards team members and other stimuli. Andres is a sweet wiggly boy who loves pets and treats. He is becoming increasing frustrated in his kennel. Heavy panting, demand barking, dialed pupils, and smears on glass. He is a super potty dog which means he prefers to go outside to use the restroom other than his kennel. He Is also a playgroup candidate who prefers to hang out with the calmer dogs. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and kenneling.
This dog is being treated for a persistent respiratory infection. He is unlikely to be infectious to other dogs at this point, but will need continued treatment with oral medications.
