Meet Drizzle, an older, sweet senior lady who is already spayed and looking for a loving home to spend her golden years. This total sweetheart is in search of a quiet home where she can fully recover and decompress outside of the shelter environment.
Drizzle is a smart girl who already knows the sit command and absolutely loves treats, which will make spoiling her a lot of fun. She has the perfect balanced energy for a senior companion, as she would be a wonderful couch buddy for relaxing evenings at home and also a great walking buddy for gentle daily strolls. If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our Foster and foster field trip program to give Drizzle a well-deserved break from the kennel. My Special Considerations
This older lady came into our care with a severe pyometra. We have completed her spay and she is currently on antibiotics. Her bloodwork shows a regenerative anemia and inflammation which has unfortunately gotten worse on her most recent bloodwork. She would benefit from follow up at a full service vet to determine the best next steps. Results can be made available to interested paw partners. Despite her most recent bloodwork her energy and appetite have greatly improved and most likely just needs some time to fully recover.
